University of Washington Museology Discussion Event with Vu Le

We have been following Vu Le’s NonprofitWithBalls.com for awhile now for Le’s candid reflections on fundraising, community engagement best (and worst) practices and much more. We are excited to be co-sponsoring an upcoming discussion lead by Le at the University of Washington and hosted by the UW Museology Program. Judging from the title, this event is one all you Unicorns absolutely cannot miss. You can download the event flyer here and find the event announcement below.

UW Museology Presents:

Equity, Fakequity, Community Engagement, and the Evolving Role of the Nonprofit Sector

Vu Le | Executive Director, Rainier Valley Corps & author of nonprofitwithballs.com

December 10, 3:00 – 4:00pm | UW Tower Auditorium

With entrenched problems facing our community, a strong nonprofit sector is more needed than ever. However, the work is complex, and emerging professionals must understand the changing dynamics within the sector and society in order to be effective in addressing injustice. Vu Le, author of nonprofitwithballs.com and experienced nonprofit leader, will lead a discussion on equity, fakequity, effective community engagement, ice zombies, and other things emerging nonprofit leaders will wrestle with. Come for an informal, entertaining, and thought-provoking conversation.
